Who is eligible for the position of Executive/Sr. Executive-Quality at Tata?
Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Good communication
- Certification in Process capability (Six Sigma-Green belt, Black belt etc.)
- CMM familiar
- Special certification like NDT Level 1, 2 etc.
- Use of instruments like Gauges, Vernier, Callipers, surface roughness gauges, etc.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensional inspections & tolerances(GD&T) principles
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
What are the responsibilities of Executive/Sr. Executive – Quality at Tata?
- Interacts with on-site customer ( such as SAC or other) on a daily basis and when required
- Mention the required participation and cooperation to the various company’s relationships
- Describe the type and the level of reporting frame and frequency to the higher management
- Ensure work allocation among executives is done in an appropriate manner
- Ensure inspectors/executives do ‘error free’ inspection
- Skill improvement of the employees and looking into their training needs. Tracking their attendance and training records and nominating based on the gaps available
- Handling grievances, issuing leaves, ensuring safety compliance at the workplace. Motivating the team members, encouraging them to participate in different employee engagement activities
- Allocate manpower for inspection
- Make SAP operation confirmation entry
- Mention all responsibilities the position has in charge
- Ensure timely ‘Clearing’ and ‘offering’ to Customer the final product and as required by the contract
- Monitor receiving inspection of parts and semi-finished products (cabins) received from suppliers (e.g.MHI Japan)
- Support production department during components or products movement from one area / jig to another
- Review NC to MRB , do RRCA & mistake proofing
