- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex written answers to others
- Experience following detailed operational procedures that include multiple technical tools, decision points, and stakeholders
- Experience conducting investigations with limited information, including producing concise analysis and making a decisions inline with provided guidance
- Experience working in Trust & Safety at a user generated content platform
- Fluent written and oral English language skills
- Experience using GitHub, git, or other version control systems
- Ability to read and interpret coding languages such as Javascript, Python, and/or Java
- Experience communicating directly with users and customers
- Experience and desire to work remotely

- Investigate and respond to reports of abuse on GitHub.com, including categories such as:
- Spam and Disruptive Content
- Harassment
- Impersonation
- Misuse of PII
- Discriminatory Content Misinformation
- Sexually Obscene Content
- Violent Content
- Organize and triage the team’s ticket queue periodically on a daily basis
- Catalog workflow, log noteworthy events, and apply data to improve procedures
