Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Has a passion for architecting and building cloud native solutions
- Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployment
- Understands and can implement Infrastructure as Code patterns and practices
- Ability to build CI/CD pipelines orchestrating the promotion of codecan define and implement cloud native operational requirements
- Understands the importance of observability and has experience in implementing cloud alerting solutionshas an open and collaborative mindset keeping artifacts up to date and relevant while actively promoting knowledge sharing
- Experience in .NET 6.0 with EF
- Advanced level Azure and/or AWS
What are the responsibilities of DevOps Engineer at Finastra?
- Opportunity to work on our cloud first initiative contributing to how we design, build, and implement cloud solutions.
- It goes hand in hand that troubleshooting, enhancing the environments, and ensuring service availability will be a key part of this role.
- Maintain all code in a standard software repository such as git
- Work on a team of engineers, dividing work as appropriate, taking the lead in triaging new tickets that arrive into the team, and ensuring that they work an appropriate number of tickets
- Manage projects on the monitoring team, reporting scale, scope, work effort with estimates as needed
- Document all activity, for reporting to senior leadership and for future reference by the teamWork following agile principles and best practices
