Who is eligible for the position of Tax Associate at Crowe?
Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 2 – 4 years tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus.
- Must be qualified to sit for the CPA or possess a CPA.
- State sales and use tax consulting and compliance experience required.
- Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Experience is preferred
- Strong research and writing skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
- Professional demeanor and work successfully in a team environment.
What are the responsibilities of Tax Associate at Crowe?
- Work on various state and local tax (SALT) projects for the various service lines within SALT.
- Build and apply strong technical skills to a variety of tax projects.
- Assist in growing Crowe’s SALT practice.
- Take part in community activities.
- Work overtime during busy season and as required.
- Travel is limited, although some overnight travel may be required.
