What are the responsibilities of Operations Associate at Coxwell?
- Dispatch Management:Coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Manage production planning, dispatch schedules and communicate delivery timelines to the relevant departments.Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for all outgoing shipments.
- Logistics Coordination:Plan, manage, and track the movement of goods from the factory to the destination.Liaise with transport vendors and negotiate contracts for the most efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.Maintain logistics-related documentation including delivery notes, invoices, and tracking information.
- Inventory Control:Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure sufficient product availability for dispatch.Perform periodic audits of inventory to ensure accurate stock records and control material flow.
- Compliance & Safety:Ensure that all dispatch and logistics activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.Implement measures to reduce transportation risks and ensure the safety of goods during transit.Ensure compliance with legal requirements for transportation and storage, especially for plastic materials.
- Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with the production, warehouse, and sales teams to meet customer delivery expectations.Communicate any potential delays or logistical challenges with relevant stakeholders to manage expectations.Address customer complaints or delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process Improvement:Identify areas of improvement in dispatch and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Assist in developing and implementing strategies to streamline transportation and reduce lead times.
