Role & responsibilities:
- Interviewing Contract Labor Workmen, selecting workmen based on their interview and also with our customer requirements such as SR and SA 8000.
- Recruiting workmen – this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting operators.
- Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
- Preparing staff handbooks and other policy matters.
- Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;
- Handling Fire Extinguisher & First Aid Kits ( Maintaining data of the extinguisher like expiry date and other details)
- Handling Payroll of the contractors, preparing attendance, salary processing of the workmen.
- Handling Documents of SR audit promptly.
- Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures for workmen.
- Arranging training program for Fire Safety and Fire Mock Drill every two months once.
- Planning, and sometimes delivering, training – including inductions for new staff.
- Provide current and prospective workmen with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
- Conduct full and final settlement, exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
- Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers.
- Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
- Knowledge of various labour laws.
- Contract employees Management.
- Handling of Employee welfare such as canteen, transportation uniform etc.
