Who is eligible for the position of Technical Support Engineer at Mphasis?

Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position

  • Hands-on experience with Windows /Mac OS environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Windows /Mac OS environments
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g. Webex, LogMeIn, Bomgar)
  • Knowledge on Citrix Virtual Apps, AWS technology and Desktop.
  • Basic knowledge on Virtualization technology.
  • Graduate 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge on Ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, RemedyForce)
  • Familiar to the Citrix, AWS environment
  • Aware of ITSM Process (Incident management)

What are the responsibilities of Technical Support Engineer at Mphasis?

  • Customer Support: Addressing customer queries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing solutions via phone, email, or chat. This may involve working directly with end-users or corporate clients.
  • Issue Diagnosis and Resolution: Identifying the root cause of software, hardware, or network problems and providing accurate, timely resolutions or workarounds.
  • Incident Management: Logging, tracking, and managing technical incidents and service requests through the internal ticketing system (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
  • Escalation Management: Escalating complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary, while ensuring proper documentation.
  • Product Knowledge: Keeping up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and fixes for the software or products Mphasis supports, ensuring proficiency in solving client issues.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Working closely with development, QA, and product management teams to resolve customer-reported issues or to suggest improvements based on user feedback.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining internal and external documentation, such as troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Testing and Debugging: Reproducing customer issues in a lab environment to fully understand the problem before providing a fix or workaround.
  • Client Training: Providing end-user training or guidance on using specific tools, software, or processes more effectively.
  • SLA Adherence: Ensuring that all issues are resolved within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in processes, systems, and service delivery, providing feedback to internal teams to enhance support operations.
  • Cross-functional Communication: Collaborating with other teams like sales, infrastructure, and customer success to ensure client satisfaction and service continuity.
