Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position

• Team player
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internetresources.
• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent education, training.
• Experience: 0 – 2 Years experience.
• Willing to travel as per project requirement.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize the solutions.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless accesspoints, firewall, routers, switches,
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning networkcommunication systems.
• Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection.
• CCNA trained/Certified
• Knowledge with the following technologies in design/implement/troubleshooting capacity is essential

What are the responsibilities of Network Administrator at Trimble?

• Operational support and incident resolution.
• Compliance: Monitor and correct compliance issues for device configurations
• Standardization: Develop and maintain standard configurations, procedures and guidelines for installingand operating data networks.
• Perform first line troubleshooting of network issues.
• System maintenance: Perform firmware / OS upgrades on routers, switches, firewalls, access points and otherdevices in accordance with company needs.
• Capacity planning review circuit and device capacities and recommend actions to the Global Network Manager.
• Interface with ISP and carriers to install/commission/test new circuits and/or troubleshoot existing circuits.
• Occasional on-call duties – Every 6 weeks for two days is typical.
