- Demonstrate authoring expertise and provide mentoring to colleagues, when need arises.
Required skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, including active support of the users and customers of an enterprise KM system, which includes writing, and publishing of content.
- Expert knowledge of written English language and strong skills in technical editing.
- Takes the initiative regarding development/revisions of knowledge base content. Requires minimal direction.
- Self-awareness of the role: understand how to write or update an article without altering its meaning, which is the responsibility of the SME.
- Strong content development and organizational experience.
- Strong background/experience in authoring tools such as MS Word, FrontPage, or specific knowledge management applications.
- Must be schedule and deadline oriented as there is a tight timeline to transform current content into new environment.
- Must be able to coordinate workload across multiple clients. We will be transforming” content from multiple clients at a time.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
- Must have experience in any on Help Authoring Tool (SharePoint Designer, Any WYSIWYG Tool)
