SSC GD is a national-level recruitment exam conducted annually by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit eligible candidates for the recruitment of Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. SSC GD Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualifications
The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before 1 January 2025.
Candidates, who do not have the essential educational qualification will not be eligible and need not apply.

Age Limit (As on 1 January 2025)
The age of the candidates must be 18-23 years as on 1st January 2025.
Candidates born after 2nd January 2002 and before 1st January 2007 are eligible to apply for SSC GD 2025 Examination.

SSC GD 2025 Application Procedure
All eligible candidates fill up their form by visiting the official website www.ssc.gov.in. or can click on the Apply now button below to get to official website. The window for correction to the SSC GD Application Form will be opened on 5th November and 7th November 2024.
Application fee
The candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- while submitting their application form online at www.ssc.gov.in. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and ESM are exempted from payment of application fees. The last date to pay the application fee is 15th October 2024 (11 pm). The application fee can be paid online through GooglePay, PhonePe, PayTM or BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Debit cards.
SSC GD Selection Process 2025
The SSC GD Selection Process 2025 have four stages tests. First a Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted. Candidates qualifying in the CBT will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), followed by a Medical Test. Candidates who successfully pass these stages will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. The recruitment stages are as follows:
Stage 1 – Written Examination (Computer-Based)
Stage 2 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage 3 – Physical Standard Test (PST)
Stage 4 – Medical Test
After clearing the Medical Test, shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo document verification.
SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025
The SSC GD 2025 exam is conducted with a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of an objective-type paper. This paper is of 160 marks in total and includes 80 questions. The SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025 is organized into four sections/topics, as follows.
