Who is eligible for the position of Junior Test Engineer at Dicetek?
Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Experience in Functional Testing – Manual and Automation
- Experience of working on Selenium Webdriver, Core Java
- Good Understanding of testNG, HTML, CSS & Jss Knowledge of SVN/CVS,
- Xpath, xml, java script experience
- Good understanding of version control like SVN, GIT, Bitbucket
- Prior experience of working on BDD framework would be an added advantage
- Banking and Financial Services domain knowledge would be an added advantage
- Good communication skills
- Strong Self-Management skills
- Exposure to working on Agile projects
- Exposure to HP ALM and Jira Tool

What are the responsibilities of Junior Test Engineer at Dicetek?
- Understanding Requirements: Review and understand the project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create test cases and scenarios.
- Test Case Development: Develop and document detailed test cases, ensuring they cover all aspects of the application under test.
- Test Execution: Execute manual test cases and report results, identifying bugs, and logging them into the defect tracking system.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
- Bug Tracking: Track defects and work closely with developers to resolve them. Retest the fixes and close the defects once resolved.
- Automation Testing: Assist in developing automated test scripts if required and executing them.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including developers, senior testers, and project managers, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Document test results and provide feedback on the application’s performance, usability, and other metrics.
- Learning and Development: Continuously learn about new tools, techniques, and best practices in testing.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress and any issues encountered during testing
