Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure the organization complies with all relevant regulatory requirements, laws, and standards.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings as required by local, state, and federal agencies.
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure all employees are aware of and understand compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on compliance topics and policies.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to resolve compliance issues.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Report on compliance risks and the status of mitigation efforts to senior management.
Internal Audits and Investigations:
- Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Investigate reported compliance issues and allegations of misconduct.
- Document findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow up on the implementation of recommendations and corrective actions.
Communication with Regulatory Bodies:
- Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory documentation and reports.
- Coordinate and manage regulatory inspections and audits.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from regulatory agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
