Role & responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to schedule deliveries and manage inventory replenishment.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and providing performance feedback.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse facilities to facilitate efficient workflow and safe working conditions.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements, manage orders, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
