The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced about 17727 number of vacancies, for Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts. The number of vacancies has increased from last year by two folds, making it a great opportunity for candidates preparing for the SSC CGL 2024 exam.
SSC CGL is a national-level recruitment exam conducted annually by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit eligible candidates for various Group B and Group C posts, such as Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector, Inspector, Executive Officer, Research Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Junior Intelligence Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Auditor, Accountant, Postal Assistant, Senior Secretariat Assistant, and Tax Assistant. SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has set some eligibility criteria for different posts as given below.
Educational Qualifications
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with a minimum 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th or in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics Statistics or Mathematics as a compulsory or Elective Subject.
- Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of one year of research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution or Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.
- All other posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
